Refund policy

Article 1 Application for Cancellation of Service (Goods) and/or Refund

 
The terms and conditions of this "Refund Policy" form part of the "Terms of Service". The buyer may apply for cancellation of the course and/or a refund before the expiration of the "Cancellation Policy" stated in the course information.
 

Article 2 Refund Conditions

 
The user agrees that a refund may be applied for under the "Cancellation Policy" or this Refund Policy only in the following cases:
 
  1. The service fails to be completed at the designated time and location confirmed by both parties due to reasons not attributable to the buyer.
  2. There are serious safety defects during the execution of the service.
  3. The course participated in, goods purchased, or service enjoyed by the buyer is materially inconsistent with the advertised product description.
  4. You may exercise relevant rights in accordance with Article 19, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Protection Act.
  5. The methods and conditions for return and refund shall be subject to the records on the respective service or commodity sales webpage and relevant webpages in the ordering process.
  6. The buyer's refund application must be submitted through the HKPD platform.
  7. HKPD will review each of the buyer's applications on a case-by-case basis and, in its sole discretion, decide whether to approve the buyer's application in accordance with the above conditions and these Terms of Service.
 
You understand and agree that if a refund is required due to your request for return or exchange of goods, HKPD's inability to accept all or part of your order, or the termination or invalidation of the contract for any reason, HKPD may handle invoices, credit notes, and other documents required by relevant laws and regulations on your behalf.
 

Article 3 Refund Calculation Method

 
The refund amount shall be the balance of the total order amount after deducting the original price of the used or expired services (goods). However, no refund shall be given for the portion that has expired but not been used.
 

Article 4 Refund for Returned Services (Goods)

 

 

The buyer shall not be eligible for a refund until HKPD confirms that the returned service (goods) meets the return conditions. Relevant incidental handling fees and service fees are not within the scope of refund in accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 5 of the "Criteria for the Application of Reasonable Exceptions to the Right to Cancel Communications Transactions".
